PWR!Moves Instructor Certification Workshop – Prework

This course is the required prework for the PWR!Moves Instructor Certification Workshop.  Our continuing education portal is a new feature of our workshop offerings, and we are excited you are participating in its inaugural year!

You are required to completed six (6) videos and six (6) quizzes to gain access to your scheduled Zoom workshop.  If this portion of your training is incomplete, we cannot issue a certification. These units can be viewed in single or multiple sittings, and you will be asked to score 100% on your quizzes (but can retake them until you receive a passing score).

The six sections of this course are: Fundamentals of Parkinson Disease (part 1 and 2), Therapeutic Options for People with PD (Medications, Technology, and Exercise), and finally Leadership: Interprofessional Communication and Building Relationships.

These topics will provide foundational knowledge to take a PWR!Moves workshop and will establish a base of knowledge for all participants, all of whom have differing levels of experience and understanding of the Parkinson community.
